Usually some fellow that owns a Christmas tree farm. Sometimes he’s also Santa Claus or a prince.” And he’s not wrong! Featuring a lot of unexpected reunions (I mean, we expected it) and even magical twists of fate, these holiday movie favorites deliver feel-good moments that celebrate love, family, and the joy of the season. I loved it! It has all the angsty goodness of the best Hallmark movies without overdoing the classics part. 🎥

Our second Hallmark Holiday film is THE HOLIDAY SITTER
rating: 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 5/5 Holiday decor – I want their decor! And I can’t say that about a lot of these films.
The bonus of having two men lead this film is that no matter what, no one told either of them their work “needs more heart.” They have the requisite “Sad Sam is sad” scene. They are hitting all the notes. Don’t forget the classic “slip and fall”! But this time, Dude says “I’m beginning to think you have an inner ear condition.” (God Bless you, sir. We’ve all been thinking it.) 🤣🤣🤣
This is a standard Hallmark Holiday film, they just put two of their leading men in instead of Allison Sweeney, Ashley Williams or Lacey Chabert (Don’t worry! I got you a Lacey flick in here.) Honestly, this one is better put together than most. The reasoning behind them meeting and meeting again (and again) is actually pretty solid. And the condo is amazing, the child actors are better than wet cheese (again, not always the case) And neither of them is secretly a prince or santa. (Thank you, Ted Lasso)

This is Netflix getting into the Hallmark Holiday game, and, well, they got game.

- This ain’t your mama’s Hallmark. This is Netflix, and they got no issue with putting a man in a scarf and a well placed holly garland and nothing else. (If you like abs, you’ll like this.)
- I spent five minutes yelling at the TV, “Where do we know him from!?!” The answer is Schitt’s Creek. Ted. (If you like Dustin Mulligan, or lovable clulessly sweet guys, you should watch this.)
- The snowman that he comes from is absolutely terrifying. The other snow sculptures are cute and sweet and this is like Michelangelo wants to haunt your nightmares. (If you have snowman phobias, don’t watch.)
- We got TWO holiday romance bingos here! So it def hits a lot of the tropes. (It hit them with that rock hard six pack. yeah.) Play our Holiday Movie Bingo too!
If you like Hallmark, but want a little more heat–NOT a LOT more, that would be tooooo much–you should watch this.
